Asbestos Reference:

High Pressure Steam Packing A-400 is described as "Used for all saturated steam conditions up to 300 lbs pressure, on reciprocating rods and plungers of steam engines, compressors, expansion joints, etc.  Made of closely woven asbestos cloth, treated with a special heat-resisting compound."

Superheat Sheet Packing A-220 is described as "A laminated sheet of compressed rubber and asbestos, for superheated and saturated steam, air, gas, ammonia, acids and alkalis."

Condition:  Good. Some wear to margin.
