- Asbestos composition discs for steam and hot water services were furnished with Kennedy bronze globe spring loaded valves

- Jenkins Cast Steel Valves were "regularly packed with a super-heat lubricated and graphited asbestos, wire inserted packing, with corrosion inhibitor suitable for most of the usual industrial services."

Condition: Unfortunately, this book is in rough condition. The covers are well worn. The back cover has a water stain which effects the last 10-15 pages (top 3" of pages, less severe on some of them).  Some pages have marks, soiling, creases, a couple of tears. Binding is OK but is beginning to break at hinges.
